Terrence Dai

Economist

Terrence joined Keystone in 2026 as an Economist in the Seattle office. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Washington, where he focused on applied microeconomics and development economics. His research leverages causal inference and machine learning to evaluate the impact of policies, programs, and events across a range of populations. Prior to joining Keystone, he worked in litigation consulting, where he applied quantitative methods to support complex economic analyses in cases spanning antitrust and M&A. He also brings a unique background in baseball analytics, where he used machine learning and Bayesian modeling to inform player evaluation and decision-making. These experiences have deepened his passion for using rigorous analysis to tackle high-stakes problems.

In his free time, he enjoys photography and heading to the ballpark to catch a baseball game.
