Michael H. Gary is a Senior Associate in the Washington, D.C. office. He studied at Tsinghua University in Beijing as a Parker Huang Postgraduate Fellow.
Prior to joining Keystone, Michael worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Economics Program, where he conducted research and analysis on AI industrial policy, digital market regulation, and U.S.-Africa trade relations. He has also written for The Diplomat on the development of China’s electric vehicle sector. He later worked at Deloitte Consulting, where he supported a software transformation to optimize the CDC’s vaccine supply chain and contributed to business development efforts with the firm’s United Nations account.
Outside of work, Michael plays soccer as a center attacking midfielder, enjoys cooking, and hosts a book club with his friends.
