Malika Krishna

Partner

Malika Krishna is a globally recognized antitrust economist specializing in merger analysis and competition economics, with deep expertise in empirical analysis, antitrust expert work, and litigation support. She joins Keystone as a founding Partner in its Washington, D.C., office. Malika is also a senior leader of Keystone's K-Econ Center of Excellence and will regularly serve as an Expert focused on antitrust.

Prior to joining Keystone, Malika served as Acting Assistant Chief in the Economic Regulatory and Economic Policy Sections of the Expert Analysis Group at the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division. In this role, she managed all economic aspects of dozens of merger and conduct cases and jointly led a team of 50 economists, statisticians, and data scientists. She also has extensive experience managing expert work for the Division's cases and collaborating closely with external experts and their teams. At the Division, Malika also worked closely with senior DOJ and FTC officials, including Professor Susan Athey, on the landmark 2023 Merger Guidelines revision.

Malika has extensive experience in high-profile antitrust litigation matters spanning a wide range of industries, including chemicals, telecom, publishing, technology, software, and healthcare.
