Before joining Keystone as a Principal, Jamie Daubenspeck was an Economist at Amazon, where he worked at the intersection of econometrics, machine learning, and generative AI. He developed LLM-based methods for extracting structured insights from large-scale organizational data, built scalable time-series models and dashboards, and created an agentic AI tool that helped teams quickly analyze data and answer business questions in real time. Previously, Jamie was a Manager at another economic consulting firm, where he led teams supporting expert witnesses and clients in high-stakes commercial litigation. His work focused primarily on antitrust, healthcare, regulatory disputes, and large-scale data analysis. Jamie is co-author of the CPI Antitrust Chronicle white paper “Recent Advances in Economic Methodology for Coordinated Effects” with Stephen Miller.
Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with his two sons, Hector and Ulysses. Before beginning his career in economics, he served as an Arabic linguist in the United States Marine Corps.
