Douglas Frank

Partner

Douglas Frank is a Partner in Keystone’s Washington, D.C. office. He specializes in the economic analysis of competition, intellectual property, firm strategy, and governance matters, with litigation experience spanning agriculture, automobiles, biotechnology, chemicals, health insurance, information technology, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.

Before joining Keystone, Douglas held senior positions at leading economic consulting firms. His earlier career at Bayer AG in the United States and Germany included management responsibilities spanning B2B marketing, business strategy, operations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Douglas was also an Assistant Professor of Strategy at INSEAD, where he was twice recognized as the Outstanding Teacher of Elective Courses in the MBA program. His academic research has been published in Management Science, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, and Industrial Relations.

A dual U.S. and French citizen, Douglas speaks fluent French and German and conversational Spanish. Outside of work, he is an avid cyclist who also enjoys international travel, foreign languages, and woodworking.
