David Liedig

Consultant I

David is a Consultant in Keystone's London office, specialising in digital markets and platform economics. His work focuses on online search and digital advertising, where he analyses issues including auction design, information asymmetries, and the economics of multi-sided platforms. He has worked on competition, regulatory and strategy matters across the US, Europe, and Asia, leading analytical workstreams and working closely with renowned academic economists.

Beyond digital markets, David advises on payments, media and professional sports. His work combines economic and econometric analysis with detailed financial and commercial assessments, including the design of financial sustainability rules in professional sports and the analysis of regulation and incentives in two-sided payment markets. David has a particular interest in how market design, incentives and interdependencies shape firm behaviour in rapidly evolving industries.

Before joining Keystone in 2024, David spent two years in economic consulting, working on competition matters, infrastructure regulation, inflation forecasting and economic impact assessments. Earlier in his career, David gained public-sector experience at the German Mission to the World Trade Organization and the German Ministry for Economic Affairs.

Outside of work, David enjoys playing football, skiing and kitesurfing.
